Finding a Rhythm

Summer vacation can be a rough few months for me, I’ve found. All that free time sounds awesome, but if I don’t structure it well? Then I venture into the territory of Boredom and Wasted Time Guilt.

So it’s always something of a relief to return to the normalcy (if you can call it that) of the school year. Orientation meetings, department meetings, and classroom preparation time all work together to reassure me that I do know what I am doing with my life, at least to some degree. Marrakesh has been no different in this regard. I am settling into an entirely new routine, to be sure, but a routine nonetheless.

So I will likely have fewer pictures like the ones below in the days to come. But I will continue to write weekly, telling you what I can about my job and more about what I am experiencing outside of work.
