My parents are currently en route to Marrakesh to visit me for my November break, and I couldn’t be more excited! The city is putting out the Moroccan flags for them (or for someone in the royal family who’s visiting…but I like my version better), the sky is a perfect blue dome, and the temps are hovering in the mid-80s (around 25-27 Celsius). Ahead is a wonderful six days of talking and touring, puzzling and coffee-drinking.
And to top it off, I just decided last night that I’m going to Amsterdam for the remaining 4 days of break after my parents leave, because I can do that kind of thing on this side of the Atlantic! I’m taking advantage of every opportunity I have to do what I love, right?
